Paul Brice

Company Director
Paul has been in the fitness industry since graduating as a sports scientist in 1989.  Paul is an ex international hurdler, javelin thrower and decathlete, and has used his experience of high level performance to help many sports  men and women to be fitter faster and stronger.  Paul was one of the innovators who started GP referral schemes in the early 1990’s, working alongside surgeons and specialist physiotherapists to develop health related rehabilitation programmes for the back and lower limbs.  Paul still retains a passion for working with people who have more complex medical and physical needs, enjoying the challenge this brings.

Spencer McCormack

Company Director

Spencer during his early years competed at a high level in Dance, Horse Riding and Basket Ball.

Spencer served with the Blues & Royals from 1985 / 86 – 2001 serving with the regiment In Knightsbridge taking part in many ceremonial duties such as Trooping of the Colour to The State Opening of Parliament, and the regiment based in Windsor, Berkshire, as a tank commander touring various countries around the world during his 15 years service.

Spencer completed his PTI course whilst at Knightsbridge and ended up as the senior instructor for the Household Cavalry for both Knightsbridge and Windsor regiments, overseeing the fitness and well being of 1400 soldiers for the next 9 years. This is where his love and knowledge of rehabilitation was founded.

In 2000 Spencer qualified as one of the first civilian qualified Sports Therapist within the Armed forces and in 2001 left the Army and opened his first clinic under the name of Bodywellness situated in Great Yarmouth.

Spencer opened his second clinic some 9 months later based in Hopton-on-Sea and he started to work closely with various world ranking clients within the sporting world.

In 2003-2004 Spencer joined forces with Paul Brice and the Bwell @ brand was created. They both then heavily engaged with the NHS to open the very first commercially run gym within the NHS in the uk.

Over the next 6 years Spencer & Paul opened various clubs and worked hard to develop the BWell brand.

In 2010 – present day – Bwell @ Gorleston was opened, this health club has now become the largest club of its kind within the Great Yarmouth Area, Bwell @ Gorleston not only helps people of all ages stay active but it also continually helps people of all ages get into the industry of which Spencer deeply loves.

Operations Manager

Andy decided to join the fitness industry after his passion for knowledge grew from his own training in fitness centres throughout the years. He qualified as a WABBA Fitness Instructor in 2005 and  joined the BWell @  team in January 2006, where his enthusiasm for the industry moved further forward and it was in 2007 he received recognition and gained his first promotion to Assistant Manager.

In the following years Andy has gained additional fitness qualifications from Level 3 Personal Trainer, Boxercise Instructor, Exercise Referral and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Specialist. Which he currently assists Paul Brice in delivering the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programme working in conjunction with the James Paget Hospital Respiratory Department.

In addition to this Andy progressed through the company and is currently the Operations Manager of the Bwell @ brand assisting the company Directors in maintaining excellent customer service and continually developing our current facility to match the every changing fitness industry.
